Just attach an optional I.S.S. unit to your floor tom hoop, attach the pedal bracket, insert the spurs into the floor tom's leg brackets (fits brackets for standard 3/8" diameter legs), add toms and a snare, and you've got a jungle kit. No holes to drill. No special hoops to buy. Just remove kit to return floor tom to normal.

little portable bass

I bought this kit to avoid the hassle of transporting my bass drum for band practices and it works wonderfully! Your pedal attaches to a bracket [included] which connects to an ISS or Optimount [not included], and you have the legs [included] that are mounted on the leg brackets already on the floor tom [unless like me, your floor tom didnt originally have leg brackets, so you have to add them]. You can adjust the height and angle of the drum by toying with the two parts. Also, you can leave the pedal bracket on the drum if you switch it to its standard legs. Works great as a side hook, kinda. I hang my stick bag on it :] If you leave the drum unmodified it sounds like a tom would, but muffled, it's the perfect little portable bass drum.

Needs additional part at about $35.00. And doesn't fit DW.

Your listing does not inform purchaser that the JG16 needs the ISS to work. And, it does not state that it is only for 10.5 mm. legs......

I have a custom made DW 16 inch bass drum. I tried the Dixon bass lift, but using Velcro doesn't make for a stabile bass. This works perfect and my bass doesn't move at all

  • Works great!

It worked great on my tom conversion, although you do need to buy an additional part. Other than that, love it! #sweepstakes
