    I had high hopes for this product, but after using it a few times, it falls really short of expectations. I can't get it to stay on the hoop - even with the little set screw that comes with it. Great idea; concept falls short...

    i hvae a brand new tama silverstar double bass drum setup 1 of the two protectors screw broke while tightening and would not stay in place unless the drum pedal was attached, so it will probably be damaged or lost if i need to transport the drums.

    well i bought this product for my gretsch Catalina club black widow 20''x20'' bass drum. it works perfectly, Ive had it for about 3 week now and still in perfect condition if your bass drum ring is smashed i totally recommend this, you won't regret it...
