    A friend at a drum circle brought a pair one week and I fell in love immediately. It was Love at first sight. These little beauties not only look and sound great, but also feel great. The foam padded grips make for very comfortable playing especially during a long drum circle piece. I especially love them for Bossa Nova as you can get a nice soft fluid rhythm going without the harsh attack you get from traditional maracas. I bought a Pair as soon as I could and tell every percussionist I meet that they should do the same.

    The beaded maracas have a softer sound than normal maracas. With the foam handles they are comfortable to play and are an added additon to my kit.
