Pearl

collapse expand iconDescription

The Pearl Pangi nut shaker is made from the seeds inside the football fruit of the Pangium tree, native to mangrove swamps in Southeast Asia. The 9” bamboo handle is connected to 22 individually-strung Pangi nuts, each of which is about the size of a walnut and hollowed out to make the shaker. The larger nuts create a deeper, earthy tone while the bamboo handle offers the player more control.

I bought this with a Christmas gift card and I definitely found a steal. I had to wait about a month but it came exactly as described. It also have a hole on the nut side that I can put my stick in and still use it with the shaker, but I might need to add some foam or something to hold it in place. It also is about as loud as my drum kit if I really shake it.
