    Pleasantly surprised by what a deal the Peavey 112-6 is. I was looking for an inexpensive closed-back 1x12 cab to complement a couple of low-cost semi-open cabs that I already have. This one is nearly perfect ... not much more expensive (or heavy) than my open-backs, but noticeably more solidly built. Plus it's made here in the USA ... and as a bonus, the 16 ohm Greenback that came in mine is labeled 'made in the UK'! At this price point, I was kind of expecting it to be from China. At the moment, I've swapped an 8 ohm Vintage 30 into the cab, because none of my amps are compatible with a 16 ohm load (and I don't want to risk blowing the 25W Greenback) ... but having seen the quality, am seriously considering putting the original speaker back in and buying a 2nd unit to run in parallel with this one, to get both an 8 ohm overall impedance and sufficient power capacity for my amps.

    Very well made. Sounds awesome with a Blackstar HT-5RH. Real good tone from quiet through wide open volume. Celestion Greenback 25 speaker delivers incredible tone.
