I have also a twin reverb. MH 20 sounds better than the Fender twin on the clean channel and takes pedals much better than twin reverb. I run it through a Fender twin 2x12 cab. I have separated the twin reverb cab from the the amp. It is a very high quality tube amp head with a ridiculous price.

Awesome head. Sounds as good or better than any Fender I've heard on the clean channel. Gain channel reminds me of the old Marshall JCM heads. Takes pedals extremely well. I run it through a Marshall 2x12 cab with two Invader 50 greenbacks. Sounds great!! If you are looking for a high quality tube amp head without breaking the bank...give this a try.
A Must Have Amp Head!

This amp head is a must have! This amp plays very clean on both channels at all volumes. I paired this amp head up with a Marshall MG412 slant cab and couldn't be happier. I can get very nice clean sounds for surf and jazz, turn it up for blues sounds, then go into the overdrive section and get 70's, 80's and 90's Rock. I can even get tones for hair metal and thrash, I also get punk tones as well. The amp looks and sounds great! If you play more modern music like death metal or scooped mids you won't get those sounds, maybe with pedals....? Just go and try this amp out, if you play the music it was made to play you'll love it and most likely will buy it. The tube warning lights is also awesome.

Good amp, nice sound. Just keep in mind that in order to sound really good you will have to go over volume level 7, even in 1W mode this is still loud, not crazy loud but it is not bedroom level. Using headphone without speaker solves that and the sound is good but not as good as when using a real speaker.

I needed something light weight for a duo act we recently started. This little head is perfect for what I'm doing. It's light and has the option to go from 20 watts, to 5, to 1. Direct line out sounded great through the PA at my first show using this head. Ran it through the matching 112 cab with an Eminence Legend speaker. It's light, has an effects loop, direct out, 5 watt option, and it even has tube indicators that let you know if you have a tube issue. It sounded great both through the cab and through the PA. It's exactly what I needed. Looks great as well !

Was looking to purchase a 20 watt head for practice and small gigs. This head does the job and then some. The clean channel has a nice warm sound, but if you turn the volume up about 6 or 7 you get that classic break up. I love the boost you get on the footswitch that comes with the amp head. A real keeper.
