The Max 158 also features a 3 band EQ, chromatic tuner and 1/8" jacks for phones output and aux input. The Max 158 also includes patented Peavey DDT speaker protection.

    So, I liked this amp in the beginning, for 5 or so minutes then the amp decided not to work. If I plug the headphones in I can hear the bass fine. But, the main speaker doesn't work. So I decided to see if the speaker came unplugged. Once I opened it up I also noticed a good amount of mold in there! So yeah, it's getting returned.

    This is a bedroom practice amp, doesn't sound tinny or cheap, and performs as advertised. I can play along with my Ipad and headphones at night and it works great for that as well. Exactly what I was looking for. No problems.
