So far, it's great!

I got this because of the channel count & because the bluetooth (or media/mp3) channel has eq. That's very important to me. Some tracks are not eq'd perfectly & a little extra punch is needed. Other than that, I expected a good, clean sound from the inputs. I used it for my 4 piece band one night. It did everything it was supposed to. It's about as compact as it could be with all the features it has. This is exactly what I was looking for. So far, I'm happy.
I would buy this product again

After looking at a few mixers in this class, I chose this one because of it didn't seem to add appreciable noise or color to the signal, had a lot of basic features and flexibility, and had some nice built in digital effects. The autotune is quite usable and can be adjusted to match a given key with +/- 100 cents offset, include accidentals or map to a chromatic scale-- the results are not bad. I have only begun exploring the digital effects but they seem to be worthwhile and usable too. I am guitar player and will definitely take advantage of the guitar pre amp remodeling function in live settings. It is sturdy and well built, but not as gig ready as some of the other models in this class which have ruggedized corners and sides to take abuse. Having said that I will either be rack mounting or casing this unit so that it won't get damaged when I use it for an event.
Very quiet! Impressive

Great mixer - I am using it for both small live gigs and recording. The mixer is extremely quiet, very impressed, I had an older mixer starts with a B, it was inexpensive but terribly noisy. I am just starting to use Auto-tune - I've used it live a couple times and no one could tell it was even on. Helped a lot when my voice was tired. I don't bring my acoustic guitar amp to gigs anymore or a DI box - I just plug right into the guitar channel. It sounds fantastic.
Thank You, Peavey !!!

Easy to operate, which is good, because I do not read manuals. Sounds great thru my Bose L1S. This mixer does all I need for gigging.

For someone who can't sing, would this product help greatly clean it up
The PV 10 will not help "greatly". It will make minor corrections in pitch. If you really "can't sing" a machine won't do it. You need to try one out yourself.submitted3 years ago
