Very good for the price

I bought an ancient Peavey XR600c PA amplifier really cheap but didn't have any speakers. I couldn't find any on craig's list so I looked here for some. I thought about a pair of Peavey PR 12s or PV 15s, but then I found these speakers. I thought I'd give them a try. I'm really glad I did because they are pretty darned good. Of course I can't turn my PA up all the way, I'll blow them. They're only 50 watts each, but they're much louder and more clear than I never imagined. I routed my Line 6 Spider II amp through it and totally drowned out the drummer without turning the PA past 3. I can even play bass through them. I have an old Gibson EB3 bass I plugged directly into the PA. Even on the bass's super-lower "number one" setting the bass sounded great. Now I'm really looking forward to getting a set of higher-end Peavey speakers. If these cheap ones sound good, I'm looking forward to hearing a pair with 15" speakers.

Needed lightweight stage monitoring and these two full the bill very well. Clear sound that can put out decent sound at a high enough volume for me to want to order another pair. GC was great in taking the order, and we picked them up at our local store in less thN a week. Very pleased.

Yamaha EMX2: 250W per channel @ 4 ohms / ~150W @ 8 ohms. Lightweight, simple, built-in effects. Good match for PVi 10s. Peavey PVi 6500: 400W total power output (est. ~200W per channel @ 8 ohms). 6-channel mixer with EQ and FX. Designed to match Peavey PVi speakers. Behringer PMP550M 500W (likely around 250W/channel @ 4 ohms, a bit less at 8). That being said, there are much better options for a bass than these.

What are the out of box (unpacked) dimensions of these speaker cabinets. The dimensions listed on Musicians Friend are "packed." I need to know what size the actual cabinets (not in shipping box) will be before I can decide if they will work for my needs. Thanks.
