I am currently using these strings on my cirrus 4 string bass and on my Ibanez 6 string and boy there just perfect not to bright like stainless not dull just right in that sweet spot easily as good if not better then Daddario and last a long time great price not a cheaply made string.
Peavey Cirrus strings not just for Cirrus

I play a 6-string bass and have an Alembic, an Ibanez fretless, and recently, a Cirrus purchased used from GC. Ordered a new set of Cirrus strings for the Cirrus - seemed logical. They are GREAT strings. I have tried almost everything on the Alembic and loved D'Aquisto (now out of business). Tried, GHS (OK), DR Sunbeams (hated 'em - played like metal rods), D'Addario, etc. Most have a tiny C string (.030 or .032)which buzzes in the nut. The Cirrus C is .035 ... perfect. Good full-tone and great for slap. They are now my favorite bass string.

I love the Peavey line of strings. Very high quality and have a lot of high end tone and punch . Is sucks that they are so hard to find. NOTE THAT THESE ARE NOT STAINLESS STEEL - if you look at the picture close they are nickel. Hopefully they will fix this on the web site one way or another. I cant play nickel because of allergies so had to send them back.. If you need Steel you want the Elements series.
