My new Peavey PA head is the Best one yet! I've had em' all since they've been making them. The Best way I've always described all Peavey amps is; Rugged. You could drop them off the Bus or Truck and they'd still work!
it turned out to be garbage

i really liked its sound but the cheap garbage didn't last six months before the built in power supply/ motherboard went out. peavey doesn't deserve the one star i had to give it
Nice!

I bought this PA because as I get older, I need to carry around less bulky/heavy things to our gigs - so this little Peavey mixer seemed to fit the ticket. I haven't played any gigs with it yet, but have set it up in my living room to put it through the motions. I read some other reviews that said the reverb was a little weak - I have no issues with it, thought it sounded just fine. Sound quality in my room was also excellent - but then again I haven't had the opportunity to really crank 'er up yet. I like the looks, love the smaller size and LOVE LOVE LOVE the 15 LB weight instead of my 40 (or so) LB trusty old Sunn mixer.
very impressive

i use it in karaoke/dj/sound support and this little guy is amazing. i replaced my xr8600 w/ the XRs and i think 1500 watts might be underrated. this thing is way more powerful and has way better sound quality. i was going to replace the xr8600 with the Yamaha EMX512SC Powered Mixer for the better effects but when i got it out of the box it was a cheap toy. i took it back and got the XRs for a couple dollars more. the bluetooth is a sweet addition. the effects on the XRs are better than the xr8600. the reverb is a little weak but that's an easy fix. this little mighty mite is a true piece of hardware, road worthy and durable.

It says it's 1000 watts rms, but into what ohm? I can't find that info anywhere. When is 1000 watts NOT 1000 watts? If it's a combination of L & R monitor & L & R mains @ 2 OHM that 1000 watts is really about 150 watts per side. Maybe that is on the back of the amp? Thanks
POWER AMP 1 SPEAKER OUTPUTS (MAIN MIX) Dual two-conductor ¼” – Speakon combination jacks that can be connected to your speakers. Each amplifier has a minimum load impedance of 4 ohms. This means you can connect either one 4-ohm, one 8-ohm or two 8-ohm speakers to each amplifier. Do not operate below rated minimum impedance. For maximum power transfer and to prevent damage to your amplifier, be sure to use speaker cables and not instrument cables to connect to the speakers. We recommend the use of 18-guage or larger speaker wire. --------------------POWER AMP 2 SPEAKER OUTPUTS (MAIN MIX or MONITOR MIX) Dual two-conductor ¼” – Speakon combination jacks that can be connected to your speakers. We recommend the use of 18-guage or larger speaker wire. The signal going to Power Amp 2 is determined by the position of the Power Amp 2 Assign switch (20). In the “MAIN” position, the main mix is fed to power amp 1 and power amp 2. In the “MON” position, the main mix is fed to power amp 1 and the monitor mix is fed to power amp 2.submitteda year ago
