Great Look, Great Sound

I decided at 52 years old to finally learn to play guitar. I chose this amp strictly on appearance. It looks great with the guitar I chose. Much to my surprise the sound quality is amazing. I love the portability, One charge lasts for several hours of actual play time and a few days standby. I am an absolute beginner as you can tell, but I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend to any beginner like myself.

Great Tone, Poor Construction, No Line Out/Output

Love the way this sounds! Only thing is I had to tighten the speaker down to reduce rattle in the 'squeal' channel. Also the moniker on the faceplate of the speaker is massive and hideous, and very difficult to remove (you have to remove all internal components to get it out). On top of that, there is no output. I would recommend the original. PIGNOSE CORPORATE!! It looks and sounds better without that STUPID nameplate. Remove it!

Perfect amp for busking, practice and I use it as a vocal PA for small club gigs. I'm on my second one. The first one lasted 5 years and was used regularly.

I got this amp because it's bigger, better sounding and has rechargeable batteries compared to the mini amps that are out there. It is a little bigger and heavier then a lot of the minis, but also seems much more solid and durable.

I was looking for a solution to the "dirty power" in my new house. All my amps buzzed from the AC power. The Pignose was the solution! I can run on batteries and no buzz. It's just what I was looking for. The sounds is quiet good for the price and size. Not much for effects. So far, the batteries have worked great. Much better than the mini amps that require 6 AA batteries.

Does this amp have the interface to a pa system that the earlier model has? Also, does the charger cable come with it?

    1) No, it doesn't. The headphone out could be used for that. 2) "Includes adapter/recharger cable"

Is this for guitar only or bass too? Looking for a decent portable bass amp.

No, this would be terrible for a bass.

What charger does the pignose hog 20 guitar amp use? I received one for christmas, but there was no charger in the box. What is the voltage, amperage and, also, the polarity of the charging plug?
Thanks,

The Pignose 7-100AR AC Adapter is the recommended adapter.
