    I bought this as an upgrade for my Ludwig Backbeat Elite drum kit. I love the way it sounds compared to what I had with the stock kit. No crazy overtones and it cuts through the mix on the band like a champ. It's even better that I caught it on sale.

    I love this snare. Looks and sounds great. Used a You Tube video expert to help me tune it and what a crack it makes when I hit it. Still looking for a nice hard case that will accomidate a 7 inch snare would get again.
