I use this mixer in my home studio and it works great. The previous version of the StudioLive was plagued with issues. Mine developed an audio issue in the USB. It was only 15 months old. Presonus is not very strong on standing behind their product. I could not believe that they wanted $200 to fix my StudioLive AR22. It did work very well but did not last long. Presonus is the only one in the game at this price point. They have excellent software with their Studio One 5 recording package. It amazes me how a company can be so strong in the software and recording process but drop the ball on hardware quality.
It's pretty good

I am coming from a Digidesign Digi 003 ProTools workspace. I got tired of the dongle and insular ecosystem disallowing the interface to be used w/other DAWs and decided to give PreSonus and Studio One a try. It's been ok so far. Disappointed to learn that I have to upgrade to the pro version of the DAW in order to use the mastering software. I am doing my first recordings as I type this. I'm sure I'll uncover this systems strengths in time.

Can you save mixes and pull up at the next gig?
The PreSonus StudioLive AR16c is a hybrid analog/digital mixer, and while it does include digital features, it does not have full mix recall like a digital mixer (e.g., the PreSonus StudioLive Series III or a Behringer X32).submitted2 years ago
