    I bought this to modify a fishman humbucker sound hole pick up. The stock cord dangling off the front of my guitar was awkward to say the least. the install was strait forward. but you need to know how to solder. and you need to open up the end pin hole to 1/2 inch. could be a problem if you are squimish about drilling out the endpin hole, but I found it quite simple and easy. the install took all of a half an hour. my inst. cord has a very positive lock when inserted. I know I can trust it. soooooo nice to get that cord off the front of my inst. if you are a diy'er head on and install it yourself. or have it done by someone that knows the ropes. instruments are expensive after all.
