Reliable
So I have a no-brand-name classical that was passed down the family and the tuning machine were old, about year into playing it one snapped in half. the others soon followed. I got these about a month ago and they have been wonderful on my classical, they feel sturdy and distribute the tension well. They also look great on my classical

Not A Universal Replacement Part
Bought these to replace a tuner head with stripped knob. The price was right. The problem was with the shaft where the string goes, they were white plastic and too large to be a direct replacement. I was however able to use parts from my existing tuners to make a usable set from the two. But these were definitely not a universal replacement part. And the photo of the product did NOT show this, so it was ordered without being able to see the exact product. Better photos should be provided on the internet.

Had an old guitar that was not keeping its tuning in place for new guitar hardware. I don't know the lingo but my daughter was so happy. And her being happy makes me happy
I would recommend this tuning set

These tuning machines fit perfectly on my classical guitar; however the B string keeps slipping and going out of tune with light playing. The quality is not that great, but it will do for practice.

I couldn't use these tuners as they had a nylon cap over the metal string winding stem that is not removable, and they wouldn't fit through the stem openings in the headstock. I ended up returning them and buying another set that clearly shows un-capped slender metal stems. This snafu probably wouldn't have happened at all if there had been measurement specifications for the tuning machines in the description on the website.

Will these work with a 3/4 size classical guitar?
It depends on the model, but most 3/4 size guitars will have the same size tuners which will work with these. These tuning machines would not work with a 3/4 size classical guitar.submitted6 years ago

I am looking for these without the ceramic on the string studs. These need to be chrome for steal strings. Can not find them. Can you remove the ceramic somehow?
The ceramic can't be removed, but give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can help you find the best fit for your guitar.submitted6 years ago
