Nice stand
Great stand for the money, well padded and stable. Manufacturing tolerances a little loose, make sure not to tighten everything up until all the components are together. The stand fits "up to 7 guitars" depending on type and size.

Pathetic Manufacturing Tolerances/Quality Control
I got this Proline 7 guitar stand today, I was extremely excited to get it home and set it up. I have a relatively small music room that has single guitar stands scattered around my amplifiers. I need more floor space, and this product seemed like the perfect solution.... But it is not... From the moment I opened the box, I could see the complete lack of quality control and manufacturing tolerances. Every tab on every rail needed to be straightened and realigned, the holes didn't line up, and the welds looked more like painted bubblegum than metal. Almost every single weld was either cold fused, pitted and porous, or all together incomplete. One of the tabs was even welded about 1/4inch lower than it should've been, so not only does it not line up, if you are lucky enough to wedge it into position, the stand will sit so far out of square that you will need half inch shims to keep it from wobbling. Trying to get it to fold was a joke in itself. After all, with so many parts out of alignment, it would take a miracle to get this thing to fold straight without breaking. I was slightly apprehensive in getting this stand in the first place, knowing that it would not effectively hold my B.C. Rich guitars and I would still have to have at least a few of my other guitars all sitting on single stands. I thought this was a pretty decent deal at $80 but after seeing the worthless quality of workmanship, I can't believe that this product could cost more than $20. So I am definitely returning this piece of garbage, and I will do some more research on different stands, or build my own if it comes down to it.

I replaced a 20 year old Proline 5 guitar stand that I really liked with this new 7 guitar stand. This new stand is flimsy, the foam pieces at the top come off, and you can't fold the back all of the way out because if you do so, the guitars stand on the strap button. It's fine if you put something in between the folding part of the frame, preventing the stand from folding all of the way back. This stand is fine if stationary, but there's no way I would gig with it like my last one,as it's flimsy enough when taking out/putting back a guitar. Quality has gone way down within the last 20 years. Try a Herculese stand.
Solid and well padded

Although the unit is foldable, I keep it stationary in a music room. It's nice to have access to multiple guitars in a compact space. Individual stands take up a lot more room.
I would buy this product again

Works perfectly for what I wanted it for I knew before buying that the foreign made nuts and bolts would be substandard so I replaced with American steel and it's very secure no wobble
Really great

This stand will be very helpful as my instrument collection moves from existing spaces to a dedicated space in the future.
