Just received the Proline MicPack1 for Christmas which included a nice stand, mic, cable and this clip. Unfortunately the mic doesn't fit securely in the clip. Virtually unusable.

The other reviews are right. It is a *very* small clip. It can fit a SM57/58 if you force it, but it's tight. It scratched up my microphone. It works, but it is small. It will work just fine, but it's small.

I bought these clip for my band room and i'm very disappointed. The first one i setup broke. Didn't even get the mic 1/4 of the way in and it broke. Guess i got what i paid for. Spend the extra couple dollars and get the better ones.
Way too small!

As received, this clip was WAY too small to fit a standard microphone, short of gripping the XLR connector. I disassembled the clip, and put the piece of plastic that grips the microphone into some boiling hot water for a minute or so. I worked the clip open by forcing something into the clip, then putting it back in the water (still being held open) to reheat. After heating it the third time, I was able to fit it onto my microphone, where I let it cool. I wouldn't want to use it on the road, but since I only want to hold a mic at my desk for doing voice work, this is sufficient.
not useful for decent-sized microphones

I needed a microphone stand, and the guy who helped me didn't explain anything about the difference between different microphone clips. He just tossed this in the order, and the plastic is too rigid, and it's too small for my mic. I'm sure if I tried to fit it in there it would break. I'm going to have to return it and get the universal kind that you can squeeze to open.
