Promark Lightning Rods offer you more attack and projection than a pair of brushes would offer. Made of premium select birch dowels, these rods provide an excellent consistency and feel. With a sound somewhere between a wire brush and a hickory drumstick, rods are the perfect sound source for the "unplugged" gig. This alternate percussion sound source is manufactured to provide reduced acoustic output compared with conventional drumsticks. The butt ends of the Promark Rods are engineered to function as mallets, expanding the array of sonic possibilities available.
