Promark Thunder Rods offer you more attack and projection than a pair of brushes would offer. Made from premium select birch dowels, these rods provide an excellent feel and responsive rebound. Thunder Rods also offer the fattest sound of all the Promark Rods. This alternate percussion sound source is manufactured to provide reduced acoustic output compared with conventional drumsticks. The butt ends of the Promark Rods are engineered to function as mallets, expanding the array of sonic possibilities available.

    Harder than brushes, less attack than regular sticks. I've been using these and their different variations for years now. The thinner rods break very easily with a rock playing style so these are much better for heavier music. Try them out, you may be surprised and always keep a pair in your stick bag!
