Class-D Amplifier Delivers Serious Power

At the heart of the CP8 is an efficient yet potent Class-D amplifier that generates 1,000W of peak power. This amplifier works with the CP8's 8" woofer and 1.4" compression driver to deliver tight, articulate bass, crisp highs and full midrange—all from an ultracompact cabinet. The 90° coverage pattern ensures balanced coverage over a wide area.

Simple Interface, Sophisticated Sound

Despite its small size, the CP8 is packed with advanced technology to optimize your sound. QSC's Intrinsic Correction DSP provides EQ, crossover and speaker protection to produce accurate, full-range audio free of distortion. The CP8's one-touch Contour dial lets you quickly select from four EQ presets—Default, Dance, Floor Monitor and Speech—to suit any application or venue. High-pass filter settings also allow using the CP8 with a subwoofer.

Road-Ready and Install-Friendly

Weighing just 21 pounds, the CP8 is easy to transport and set up anywhere you need great sound. Its molded enclosure is both durable and stylish, sporting a modern silhouette and steel grille. Input connections include two balanced 1/4"TRS/XLR combo jacks and 3.5 mm TRS. Mounting points on the CP8 allow permanent installation, and M8 rigging points add suspension options.

    I am using a pair of these QSC CP8 with a subwoofer for my keyboard on stage monitor. Frequency response very smooth/flat... just what I expected/wanted.

    I use these primarily as monitors for small to medium live events. They are perfect for that purpose; clear, strong, wide range. I would not hesitate to use them as main speakers for same events. They have enough bottom end to provide the full spectrum of vocal and instruments. This are one of the best speaker purchases I've made in recent years.

    I left a previous comment on JBL EON 710 speakers, which I had problems with. Bottom line, I didn't like the fact that to use equalization required pairing thos speakers with an app and using Iphone or Ipad. So I returned them and needed speaker immediately, something in stock to use that night. These speakers were in stock and as usual I had done some homework on them. The suit me requirement perfectly. Very compact but powerful, clear sound, plenty of bottom for their size. These are perfect for small venue. I used one for the FOH main and the other on the monitor channel and all performers commented on the great sound. I've been a JBL customer for years and I still use JBL 612 powered speakers for larger performances. These QSC CB8 speakers will pair well as monitors for larger presentation. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

    1) No, it's not BT compatible. 2) We have no such adaptor.

    Regarding my new QSC CP8, I'm getting very little volume compared to my EV ZLX 12 (also 1000 watts) even when I run the CP8 at plus 10 db (compared to 0 db on the ZLX 12) I have to run the gain on my board 2 notches higher than I run my ZLX 12 to get any reasonable volume from the CP8. Is this what I should expect?
