Quik-Lok A-188 Desktop Microphone Stand Black

aside from difference in legs on this product, it appears to be the same mic stand i bought from guitar center a year ago. the mic clip is horrible. i dont own one mic that will fit into this thing, its gigantic. you could fit two sm57s in it comfortably. i have to wrap duct tape around a mic to get a snug fit. secondly, the screw on the stand is some bizzare size that seems to be 3/8ths but it isnt. this means you are unable to replace the monster clip that comes on the stand with anything else because a 3/8s screw thread is still too loose to screw onto the stand. hypothetically, if you surprisingly had some use for the monster clip, the above problem means that you are unable to fit that clip on any mic stand that is able to take an industry standard 3/8s screw thread. unbelievable. lastly, if you wanted to take that worthless sized screw thread out of Monster Clip you cant. LOL. this was trash on arrival and is in no way capable of being utilized in any other way.
