Solution I was looking for

I run open mics and play in bands and multiple jams, this is what I have been looking for. I was worried about the fit based on multiple reviews I had seen elsewhere but I pulled the trigger to try it out. I am happy I did. It fits mic stand on bottom of stand just fine. I had read it would only fit the top portion which is not true. I used it at a jam last night and loved it. Much better than the tall bulky stand that would get in the way of me and the audience. I am extremely happy with this purchase so far.

Not for use with anything but sheet music

I wanted something to put my Alesis SR-16 Drum Machine on, so I bought it. The drum machine fits on it perfectly, but it is not stable enough to support the drum machine. Both times I tried to use it for that, it came loose from the music stand, no matter how hard I screwed it on, and came crashing to the floor, with my Drum Machine. Not good for the drum machine or my heart! Bottom line, don't even think of using it for anything like that. I is only secure and stable enough to hold sheet music. I doubt it would even hold a music book.

Like the large lip. Clamp that holds onto stand not tight enough - if you put something heavy on it, it rotates down.

Does not work due to the clip which cannot be tightened in a way to secure the tray. Great concept, but needs a clip that can hold the heavy tray at all angles of display.

  • I would purchase this product again

Very good didn't know they had these bought it as soon as I did. Very happy only I use an old extra Mike stand to clamp it on like it because it gets up high so u can read your lyrics and sing while standing up though it has some weight I don't have it on the Mike stand I'm using to sing cause it might be liable to fall if Mike stand is not weighed down enough maybe there a way I don't know but it works and I'm very happy

Good useful and convenient music holder. My only complaint is it is a little heavy and could cause your mic stand to topple if you are not careful.
