When creativity calls, the RANE ONE answers.
Motorized Platters Provide Responsive Feel
At the heart of the RANE ONE are two high-torque, 7.2" motorized platters with customizable torque settings for dialing in the perfect feel. Their sturdy acrylic surfaces stand up to intensive scratching and mixing, conveying authentic vinyl-like control with the convenience of a digital setup. Start and stop each platter with a classic plunger-style button for an old-school touch.
Multi-Function Pads Unlock Advanced Techniques
Sixteen multi-function performance pads provide one-touch access to advanced DJ techniques. Trigger saved loops, set hot cues, roll sections of tracks, activate samples, slice beats and access Scratch Bank. With six dedicated effects buttons, activate and tweak combinations of software effects on the fly for dramatic builds, drops and transitions using the aluminum paddle controls.
Connectivity for Any Gig
The RANE ONE offers comprehensive connectivity for any DJ setup. Each deck features two USB ports to connect laptops, switchable line and phono inputs for CDJs or turntables, and XLR and RCA main outputs. Dual XLR/TRS microphone inputs, an aux input and booth output provide additional flexibility. Control two music sources at once or seamlessly transition between them with the MAG FOUR crossfader for precision cuts.
Shape a Signature Sound
Put your mark on the music with 3-band EQs, dedicated loop controls and high/low-pass filters on each deck. The RANE ONE integrates Serato DJ Pro software for tight control over an extensive library of tracks. Save and recall precise EQ settings, loops and more using Serato's advanced features.

Coming from turntables, the Rane one is AWESOME!
I am a turntable DJ (20+yrs) but was needing a controller for mobile gigs with smaller setup spaces. After buying another brand a few years ago, it "did the job" but it definitely was not something i enjoyed playing on. I got the rane one and within 15 min i was right at home on it. With a few minor tweaks (better slipmats/butter rugs) I can say this feels as close to turntables as you are going to get in a smaller setup. The unit is on the heavier side (a rane one in a pro-x flight case is 65lbs) but if you are used to using turntables, its not that bad at all (DEF no where near the weight of a loaded coffin). Its not as efx heavy as some of the current controllers out there, BUT it has all the things I personally (and probably most turntable djs out there) need to rock a gig. Cant recommend enough!

I would not buy this again
I use the this controller for DJ nice unit for the price rane could have done a little better and this unit would have been another perfect controller first thing the platters are not place equally on the surface the left platter is falling off the surface and the right side have a good 2 inches from the edge it looks foolish next the library navigation over each deck so your arm is always hanging over the platter would be so much better top center of the mixer section (note t-shirt only when using this unit sleeves will touch platter reaching for the navigation buttons) firmware no auto head phone have to push that button all the time no sampler volume control come on other than the motorized platters and the build quality my DDJ SX2 blows this thing out the park

The Rane One is an excellent controller. Motorized platters are a plus! Pads are super responsive. Excellent crossfader, but the crossfader curve knob is quite loose and sometimes turns on its own with vibration from heavy crossfader usage or if your headphone cable touches the knob.

Is this system goid for a 9 year old. Is it very loud and noisy where it will raise the roof. Also, do you need to buy anything else with this system for it to operate.
It comes with a bit of a learning curve, but that's for everyone that just starts out on these. What is required for it may vary, give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can lay out what you would need depending on how it's going to be used.
