The SUB 8004-AS is an active, high-power subwoofer designed to provide stunning low-end for live performances and installed sound applications. The SUB 8004-AS features a 2,500W digital amplifier and 18" woofer to deliver seismic bass you can truly feel. With a phase invert switch and deep punch settings, you have full control over your low end. RCF's RDNet management software allows for convenient monitoring and control via PC, tablet or smartphone. Built for the rigors of the road, the SUB 8004-AS's multi-layer birch plywood cabinet and protective grill can withstand the demands of any touring schedule.

Massive 2,500W Delivers Monstrous Bass

At the heart of the SUB 8004-AS is a Class D amplifier that pumps out a whopping 2,500 watts to drive its high excursion 18" woofer. The result is a subwoofer with almost unlimited headroom and the ability to produce clean, tight bass that can shake the walls of any venue.

Full DSP Control and Management

The SUB 8004-AS provides outstanding control over your low end with selectable low pass filter frequencies, polarity inversion and limiting functions all accessible via the back panel.

Road-Ready Cabinet Construction

While its power and performance are suited for the largest venues, the SUB 8004-AS is also built to withstand the rigors of the road. Its multi-layer birch plywood cabinet and protective metal grill can handle the loading in and out as well as the long hours of high-powered operation required of touring sound systems. With integrated handles, the 123.46-pound SUB 8004-AS is made for easy transport.

    -It's built like a tank and when the Bass drops the box doesn't move it's solid. -You will notice plenty of headroom and clean low end bass. -You probably need to put this sub in a live sound situation so you can let it loose and shake the building. -It's a good size box, even with castors you may need an extra hand for lifting this thing. -The low end rumble Is very powerful and clean. -This is not JBL this is something else and you can feel it. -If you have Neighbors be respectful with the sensitivity knob this will shake everything and get the police called on you.

    Mobile DJ with lots of RCF gear, these sound amazing. Don't have issues with them limiting, period. However they stay home a lot because they are a pain to move around, they are heavy and just big enough to awkward. Beyond that these are a solid 18" sub. You cannot go wrong.
