collapse expand iconDescription

The Remo Falam Slam Bass Drum Patch is crafted from Kevlar (the same material used in bulletproof vests) that protects your double bass drum head from the abuse suffered from using plastic or wood beaters. They take a lickin' and keep on kickin'. Each has a 2-1/2" diameter.

Note: The color of each patch may vary.

amazing lil thing

got this along with a powerstroke 3 22" head 2 months ago and couldnt be happier, has an amazing punchy attack sound metal players love while not making the drum any quieter whatso-ever. i reccomend a loose/med tuning to bring the best tones out of your drum

So-So

I play my drums everyday for an hour or so and 5 hours a night on the weekend gigs. this patch lasted about 3 months and is starting to wear through. Don't believe any of the "lasts for years" claims. If you play with regularity, you MIGHT get 6 months out of it. It still beats ruining your bass drum head though. So although I'd recommend it, just don't expect more than a few months use from it.

I prefer these over any other patches. I exclusively play Evans heads as well. These don't change the sound of the head much and reinforce it as needed. They're the best. Easy to apply, easy to use and I've never broken a kick head with one of these on it. They're the absolute best. Definitely recommend

This is for the protection of your batter bass drum head. This performs the task at a more than superlative level. And, it isn't overkill, because not all players use their felt side or felt beaters; many use wooden or plastic beaters on their pedal. Even so, with such protection, your bass drum or its batter head do not sacrifice any resonance or tonal qualities, considering the amount of coverage & protection the Falam Slam pad provides.

Gives the bass drum that full power kick sound without having to worry about denting your head. Works great with my PDP 3000 series double bass drum pedal!
