Remo's QuickTech™ Drum Key was inspired by professional drum techs who require a fast, easy way to make rapid drumhead changes. The QuickTech Drum Key features an internal high-pull neodymium magnet to prevent tension rods from rattling or falling. A wide contoured face provides comfortable handling, while extended height and a large rubber grip knob allows for rapid spinning of the key with just two fingers.

For maximum versatility, the QuickTech Drum Key also includes a hex stem for cordless drill attachment eliminating the need to change drill bits and keys.

I use this product for tuning on the villegas harp. I have a modelo VJ-37. Since it's not really made for the harp- there really isn't anywhere to mount the tuner as I usually would, but this product serves its purpose very well. When the key is inserted in the peg, there is quite a bit of slack I will admit, but it works fine overall. I would recommend this key over others because of the size. grips well on the hand

  • A very substantial drum key.

I really like that I can use the strong magnet and string to help drop in tension lugs after a head change. It looks good and feels good in the hands. The rubber piece is great for gripping, spinning, and also acts as a buffer if you like to hang a key to a cymbal stand or something. I have not tried it yet, but there is a 1/4 drive if you wan to attach it to a drill/driver. Recommended!

After a lifetime of cheap drum keys, I finally got the Quicktech key and couldn't be happier. It's beefy, has the rubber top to spin lugs quickly with just my fingers, and the best part is the drill bit to unscrew lugs, which saves so much time. I'm not losing this one.

I don't know why this design was not thought about before. The wings allow more pressure and the tip lets you twist the tension rods quicker. The tip also has flat spots that allow you to use it with a drill to really speed up the process. #sweepstakes
