  • Tone Control Rings bounce on drum heads

When I first tried these, they sounded great and did exactly what I wanted in terms of controlling overtones. However, as I continued to use them, the control rings would bounce on the drumheads when I struck the drums (and not overly hard). The noise was noticeable, although probably not too distracting for practice purposes.

I bought these snare rings because my snare needed to be not as loud. These rings did the job! Great product. You will not be dissapointed! Great sound, they even got rid of the weird overtones my snare made!

I bought one of these to rid myself of the annoying high pitched after tone that came from my snare. The tone ring did the job perfectly. Now I hear the sound that the snare is supposed to make, it doesn't sacrifice volume, and it cost me alomst nothing.
