Rhythm Band Wood Mallets (Pair) 8 in.

These small mallets are perfect for any size xylophone. They work on wood and steel. Because they're small, the young students find it so much easier to take aim and hit the intended key. With these shorter mallets, my PK through sixth graders are now able to easily play two-note chords. Not only are these wood mallets easy to hold and maneuver, they sound great. They produce a solid high end and clear tone. My students don't have to strike the keys very hard at all. I actually got rid of my regular length yarn and felt mallets; I can't believe it took me this long. I highly recommend these small wood mallets especially for grade school students.
