Rhythm Tech

collapse expand iconDescription

The RhythmTech Drum Kit Pack (RTDKP), a complete solution for adding percussive accents to your drum set. The RTDKP includes a Studio Series cowbell and a drum set tambourine, along with a mounting bracket for seamless integration into your kit. Available at an affordable price, the RTDKP gives drummers an easy way to expand their rhythmic palette.

Versatile 5" Cowbell Produces a Range of Tones

The RTDKP includes Rhythm Tech's RT3005 5" studio cowbell, which produces a variety of pitches from high-pitched rings to lower clangs. By striking the cowbell with different parts of the stick and at varying strengths, drummers can create contrasting accents and rhythms. The cowbell's compact 5" size allows for placement in tight spaces around a drum kit.

Durable Tambourine Provides Crisp, Metallic Jingles

Rhythm Tech's DST10 drum set tambourine included in the RTDKP features a durable polymer frame and double rows of nickel jingles for crisp, metallic sounds. The DST10 produces a range of jingle effects, from soft shakes to loud cymbal-like crashes. Its plastic frame prevents the jingles from damaging drumsticks during energetic playing. The DST10 mounts to the included bracket, keeping the tambourine securely in place next to the drum set.

Convenient Mounting Bracket Installs Easily on Any Drum Set

The RTDKP includes a universal mounting bracket that attaches the cowbell and tambourine to any drum set. The bracket installs on a 3/8" rod, allowing drummers to position the percussion effects in an optimal spot on their kit. Once installed, the bracket holds the cowbell and tambourine securely in place during performances and recordings.

Add Rhythmic Possibilities to Your Drum Set

With a studio-quality cowbell, drum set tambourine, and mounting bracket, the RhythmTech Drum Kit Pack provides drummers with an affordable way to expand their rhythmic vocabulary. The RTDKP gives drummers increased flexibility to create unique percussion-filled grooves that will energize any musical performance.

Easy addition (but you'll want an upgrade)

If you're looking to add some sounds to your kit, this rhythm pack is an inexpensive and easy way to get both a tambourine and cowbell with a mount. Installation is simple: just attach the mounting bracket to any open space on a tom or cymbal stand and you're ready for a more colorful drumset sound. Unfortunately, I think that the cowbell and tambourine themselves leave a lot to be desired. The cowbell is very small and gives a high pitched bark. Normally, a good cowbell for riding will give a deeper thud with more resonance. The positive side is that the cowbell has some serious cutting capabilities! This thing will absolutely cut through your guitars and amps, even when cranked to 11! The tambourine is about what you'd expect--it is extremely quiet. If you're using this in most gig settings, it's going to need to be miked up to be heard at all. The sound is very basic, very generic tambourine. I think this would be most useful at a coffee-house gig where quiet drumming can be supplemented with something like an un-miked tambourine. All in all, the set is a good introduction to expanding your sound, but the individual instruments may soon leave you wanting for more.

Not half bad

Im a metal drummer. I just pick up smaller stuff for fun. The tambourine is quieter than i would have liked. But durable. The Cowbell is small and loud. Not half bad though. Its very cheap. I suggest if you want a great tambourine or cowbell buy the them individually with their own mounts. Itll be about the same price,. But if you just want two to mess around with, this is yours.

This little RhythmTech Pack is good stuff for mellow-type music, playing acoustic, or playing in small quarters. I like the high pitched cut of the cowbell and the jingle of the tambourine is okay for what I'm doing at church, but if you're around friends that like to crank up their amps all the way, I don't think the tambourine will last if you need to constantly beat the hell out of this pack to be heard. This works really great for me and what I do but I'd say this is good for beginners but if you need more durability or louder sound in a tambourine or a lower-pitched, deeper cowbell tone you may have to look elsewhere or also buy a larger cowbell. Also when using it, make sure you are aware of where you have the little nut that's used to attached the tambourine, it can be a little shy sometimes.

  • More cowbell, nice addition

This kit is perfect if you're looking to add more toys to play with on your drum set for cheap. Setup is very simple and quick and the clamp comes with rubber grips to protect your stand. I would have to agree with the other reviews and say that this kit isn't the best sounding kit and you'll want to upgrade after a while but it's a very inexpensive alternative if you don't have deep pockets. The tambourine rings a little when you hit your cowbell but it's barely noticeable if you're just jamming out in the garage with your friends. If you've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell, this is a good start!

Just like drummer 72, the problem was that the when you hit the cowbell hard enough, the tambourine vibrates as well.. Not a huge deal. Just wanted to put it out there if that's a problem. Other than that, I think this is a steal price for this combo pack. Loving my new setup. :)

The tambourine is great for slow songs, my snare is really high pitched and has an even overtone that i like, but for slow songs its not good, so the tambourine is my snare on slow quiet songs. the cow bell is diverse, and a good add, but i plan on getting a bigger one with more thud to go along with it. And as for the cow bell, dont use the bead of your stick to go beatin on it, i did that as soon as i got it just messing around and broke a brand new stick right at the tip. OVERALL, wonderfull, im a punk drummer and i use it, and punk doesn't usually have cow or tambourine
