Long Lasting!

I got this case about 10 years ago, and I'm still using it. If you're loading your car with an entire band's worth of equipment, I would definitely put this in last; it is a bag, not a hard case. Likewise, this probably won't protect your keyboard from something falling on it. That being said, this particular case does its job well, and all the zippers and padding have lasted 10 years of frequent use.

For the price, it is very functional for what I need. I needed a bag to store the keyboard in at home and carry it to and from the truck when taking the keyboard to places we perform, nursing homes, etc. I have hard cases for the guitars, banjo, and violin and the keyboard sits over top of all the hard cases. It doesn't get banged around too much so this will work out just fine. It fits the Yamaha PSR-E233 just right, just enough extra room to slide in the folding stand I purchased and add a little extra carpet or foam padding if I think it is needed later on. I am very happy with the product for the price.

The other reviews make this sound like a top-flight gig bag. It's good for putting your keyboard away in the closet (avoid scratches, etc.), but this is not a travel bag. There is very little padding on this bag, if your keyboard bangs into something while traveling, it will not protect it. My experience with keyboards is that they can be somewhat fragile, so you need more protection than this bag offers if you are going to be going to practice and gigs. I travel with my keyboard at least twice a week, so I need something that provides protection. There aren't a lot options - if you want a hardshell case, it will cost you over $200. That's too rich for me, so I bought this bag and used carpet pad remnants to insulate the inside. You could also use acoustic insulation or bubble wrap to make it more protective. For the money, it's a good bag for storage but keep in mind you will need more padding if you travel, or you will need a better quality case.

Can't beat this bag for the price. Extra depth is perfect for my oversized keyboard. Not only protects the keyboard during travel, but also blocks out dust and moisture from entering keys and buttons when the keyboard is not in use. Very pleased with quality and price.

This deep keyboard bag is a perfect fit for my 61 key Yamaha PSR-E413 keyboard. It's also well made from durable material and has a large pocket on the outside. Lastly, it's very affordable.

Would this bag be a good fit for an Novation Launchkey 61? Would it fit snug or be too big?
