Seems to make the quality of my mic much better. Heavy duty and reliable. I purchased two of these. This one plugs in my Korg pa1000 mic input. The other model for my Korg PA3x. Assured connection and noise free. Will purchase again. Stay with the Black series as the Gold series, the outer seems to fray

    1) This cable will work. 2) Hi-Z is around 10,000 ohms. None of that means much. What are you connecting to, a guitar amp?
