Roland

The reinvented Blues Cube series launches the classic 1x12 combo amp into a new era, combining lush 6L6 tube sound and response with modern reliability and easy portability. Going far beyond modeling, Roland's Tube Logic design philosophy starts with carefully reproducing the inner workings of the revered tweed-era tube amp in every way, from guitar input to speaker output. Versatile clean and crunch channels can be used independently or combined for a complex range of tones, while variable output power modes let you dial in burning, full-throttle sound at any volume. Road-tested and fine-tuned with feedback from top players, the gig-ready Blues Cube delivers the sweet, magical tone and satisfying feel that makes a great guitar amp a highly expressive musical instrument.

Performance-Ready Amp
Ready for live playing, the Blues Cube Stage is equipped with 60 watts of power, plus a custom 12-inch speaker that's been specially designed for maximum tonal response with Tube Logic. The open-back cabinet features poplar plywood construction, which offers acoustically vibrant tone for solo or group performances.

Clean, Crunch and Dual Tone
The Blues Cube Stage has two independent channels—one voiced for cleaner tones, and the other for crunch. Each channel has its own Boost and Tone switches to shape the character. The Clean channel's single volume control dials in natural tube fullness and bite as the volume is cranked, while the Crunch channel's variable gain control provides a range of grit flavors from mild to aggressive. With the press of a switch, the unique Dual Tone mode lets you blend both channels together for an endless array of rich tones. And just like a vintage tube amp, the Blues Cube loves stomp-boxes, allowing you to further shape your personal sound by hitting the amp' front end with your favorite gain pedals.

Wide-Open Sound at Any Volume
Every tube-amp player knows that you really need to turn up the volume and push the output tubes to get the amp to sing at its best. The downside is that the sound simply becomes too loud for playing anywhere but the biggest stages—though that's certainly never stopped guitarists from trying! With Tube Logic, the Blues Cube authentically delivers the complex distortion characteristics of a pair of 6L6 output tubes and their interaction with the output transformer, with the sound getting richer and the feel becoming more dynamically responsive as the overall volume is increased. But with the Blues Cube's variable Power Control, you're able to enjoy this musical, cranked-up tone while matching the volume to any situation, from recording to rehearsals to nightclub gigs and beyond.

I played for years through the Roland BC60 Victoria model, the one with two rows of knobs. An incredible amp, any sound you want it has. In fact I traded it in to a GC once and bought a Fender Princeton and after the used Roland sat at GC for a year I bought it back, replacing the Fender. Then, again in a state of stupidity, I traded it in and got a Boss Katana Artist -- big mistake. Though the Boss has all kinds of settings, more than I would ever need, it just sounded sterile, no personality or warmth. Traded it in for the a used BC60 Stage and now I'm back to the amp I love best. I'd play this against any Fender of same size/style, tube or solid state. If you are on the fence about solid state amp check one of these out. I wish GC would stock these in their stored, they'd sell bunches I'm sure.

Roland makes thee best solid state amps around. Between their Jazz Chorus and their Blues Cube, nothing comes closer to the real tube sound, while also offering something uniquely lush and clean that even tubes can't provide. I've owned the Blues Cube Hot for several years now, and I finally decided to upgrade to the Stage model. I was immediately blown away by it, and I never realized how much I was missing!! Though I've loved my Blues Cube Hot over the years, I noticed immediately how small and boxy it sounded, in comparison to this larger model. With the additional channel, you also get a ton more options, as far as tone sculpting goes, and it sounds way better with my dirt pedal collection. Though I still tend to lean towards tube amps in most situations, these Roland amps are definitely worth a look.

I was actually looking for a tube amp when I found this sitting at the Guitar Center in Wilmington, DE. I asked the salesman to hook it up and the tones were just eye opening. Tube sound without the extra weight in a 38lb tweed amp. Even better and more surprising though was the actual spring reverb sound it also has. And it's not an attenuator either. It actually has 4 separate power supplies built into it. 0.5W, 15W, 45W and 60W. Check out the reviews for yourself on YouTube and you'll see for yourself Roland HAS done it again!

I have been a Fender tube amp lover for 36 years. This amp is the bset tone of any I have ever played. Les Paul, Telecaster, PRS Zach Meyers, Stratocaster all sound amazing. I bought the New York Blues tone capsule for it. I am amazed
