I have Played Guitar for 26 Years. I recently picked up Drums because I had a knack for it. I bought one of those Alesis DM5 Kits (Which is pretty good). My Major reason for upgrading was the Unrealistic HiHat Operation on the Alesis. So I bought this TD-6V and a FD-8 Foot Control. WOW!!! What a difference from the Alesis DM5. I am still using the Trigger Pads from the Alesis and the Difference is Unbelievable. It became easier to play the same Drum set just because of this Sound Module. The Alesis Foot Controller worked on this Unit, but did not allow Full Expressive Control of the HiHats, which the FD-8 allows for. Pressing the Pedal You get Closed HiHat. Release just slightly and it starts to have that Slightly Open Sound and Varies all the way open. The Carpet Spike Screws work well for Holding the Pedal in Place.

It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.

I purchased a FD-8 and KT-10 pedals from you a few months ago, along with the Roland SPD-SX pad. Can't get the two pedals to sound like conventional acoustic pedals.
