    I have been using a KT-10 for two years at my church, and when it was time to buy a pedal for my new SPD SX Pro, it was a no brainer. The KT-10 is built to last, and plays really well. I use a DW5000 on my acoustic drums, and it is not hard to transition from one to another Response is great. Add another KT-10 for double bass with just another cord.

    At first I choked at the sticker price, but now I feel investment was a good deal. The action is very smooth. 3 configurable counter weights can make this pedal feel thumpy, or feather weight fast. It has a second jack intended to tandem a second kt-10 for double bass. Main purchase reason was to reduce beater vibration and thuds. It doesn't eliminate thuds, but significantly reduced their intensity. On a 1-10 scale, reduction is a good 7 compared to iron cobra beating yamaha bass trigger I run a yamaha dtx 502 set up, and the Roland joined the kit like an old friend. Completely compatible and much better than I expected. Practicing just got a little more stealth, and I feel like a better neighbor for going with the kt-10.

    I'm not a expert drummer but for me, this is better than the real thing. Feels great and has an excellent rebound.

    It may work but will probably give you issues It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.
