Designed for use under kick pads/pedals and hi-hat controllers/stands, the Noise Eater NE-10 isolation board is a unique drum sound isolation device to reduce noise transfer to rooms below by approximately 75 percent.

If you're using compact, integrated products, such as the FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller and the low-noise KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, an NE-10 under each pedal is all you need. If you have a larger kick trigger pad and/or V-Hi-Hat that incorporates a stand, you'll also want to use companion NE-1 units under each stand leg as necessary.

For maximum effectiveness, Roland recommends that Noise Eater products be used under all kick and hi-hat pedals, and all legs on mesh-head kick pads and hi-hat stands in your V-Drums set.

I own a condo on the second floor of a three floor building and I recently purchased an Alesia Nitro electronic drum kit. Interestingly enough, my downstairs neighbor can't hear me playing, but the vibrations from the kick pedal have been bothering my upstairs neighbor. I was really bummed out about this since I love the Nitro kit and I had been looking into building a platform for the whole kit using plywood and tennis balls, etc. Luckily I stumbled upon the Roland NE-10 because so far it has completely solved the problem. No more complaints from upstairs! This item is a little expensive but in my case it's been absolutely worth it. The fact that my kick pedal is a few inches higher than everything else has taken some getting used to, but at least I can now play as much as I want!

  • It works!

I got a set of v-drums for my 3rd floor apartment. Within 10 minutes, a neighbor was banging on his roof / my floor. It happened again later. Bought this - no more angry neighbor! I honestly can't believe it worked so well, but it did. I also keep the entire kit on a blanket FYI. Only 4 starts because the price seems a little steep. This thing should be $40 or $50 maybe. But, it works so ... whaddya gonna do, amirite?

Is this wide and long enough to fit a Roland KD-10 kick drum and a Tama pedal? Or will the pedal hang off the near end of it?

I’m sorry, I don’t know. I'm not familiar with your unit. I don't have one to check.

Hello! I live in a second floor flat and would like to play my electric drums without disturbing the neighbors. Can you recommend the best way to dampen the kick drum and high hat pedals? It's a 100 yr old building, so I'll need something sound absorbing. Thanks!
