collapse expand iconDescription

Roland V-Drums are known for their quality sounds, great playability and response, ease of use and rugged reliability. The TD-17 Series kits are the newest member of the Roland family that continue the commitment to these proven benefits.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate player, semi-professional or even a home studio enthusiast, the TD-17 kits offer features for all players.

The powerful TD-17 Drum Sound Module has a new set of sounds based on Roland’s popular flagship TD-50. The module is packed with over 300 quality drums, percussion and effects sounds, and 100 kits to cover any musical style. The TD-17 module also includes the ability to import sounds—a first for V-Drums kits in this price range. Combined with built-in sounds and easy sound editing, creating your own custom sounds and kits are virtually limitless. The TD-17 also includes built in Bluetooth for streaming music from a smart device, a great way to learn or just play along with your favorite songs. You can even record your performances and save your playing on a standard SDHC card.

This module will not allow you to output click/metronome to only headphones, including the internal click and click coming in from an AUX or bluetooth device. If you want to record yourself or do anything more than practice, consider going with a different module.

Yes, your Roland TD-3 pads will work with a TD-17 module, assuming you connect each one with 1/4" cables and configure them properly. I

It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.
