    These have been my go to strings for 25 years now. The great luthier Rick Turner once wrote an article explaining in a scientific fashion why lighter bass strings provide superior sound to their heavier counterparts. I have found this to be true in real world playing as well. They're also much easier to play and especially bend. Rotosounds always sound great, although they don't hold their tone as long as some of the more modern designs.
