    I put a set of these on my Squier Affinity Jazz Bass, and instantly noticed a difference. It felt like something in my Squier had been "woken up", and there's an added "growl" that these strings have that is perfect for me. I'd heard about this growl, but nothing I'd heard did it any justice. I'll definitely be putting these on any bass I buy from now on.
