    I have a Fender P that I string B-E-A-D without having to have purchased a 5 string. The low B with this set is clear and doesn't sound "muffled" or "muddy" as others do. Have purchased a couple other brands of strings, but always come back to Rotosounds!!!

    I used to use these wat back in the 70s-80s... So, I thought I'd try them on one of my new Basses... Coming out of the pack, they felt like they'd been sitting for awhile. Used them for one rehearsal, kept them on for a couple weeks... Had to take them off. But, I'll try cleaning them and reinstall them to see if they brighten up...
