The BEST ride for rock/metal. Saved up my pretty pennies to buy this and it is 100% worth it. Im a huge godsmack and pantera fan and after hearing the sound of this ride from the two of them I had to get one for myself. Super cutting bell and great defined bow sound this ride is worth every penny!

I am gigging with a 80's hair metal act, this thing sounds appropriate. weighs a ton, needs its own cymbal bag. very happy with it.

While Guitar Center apparently only offers the traditional finish the Brilliant finish for this ride is absolutely amazing. A distinct and cut-through ping from this ride will surf atop all other soundwaves as it's loud capabilities make the Power Bell perfect for gigging and recording (heavy styles mostly). The bell has so many timbres to it with different stick placements and contact points. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to blast.

This is a great cymbal it has a well defined ride sound without to much wash but just enough for a good metal sound. The Bell is amazing loud and cutting but with a ping sound not the "pang" like the soundcaster mega bell. This isnt as good for crashing though, but what would you expect from something as heavy. overall great buy and great sound, worth the price especialy if your looking for some great metal and rock sound.

I've been sporting a Zildjian Ping ride for over 20 years (from back before they had the lower end liness... ya know... when the Zildjian name was enough to imply quality and you didn't have to rely on badges like Avedis, K, or A-Custom to know it was a nice cymbal). Anywho... I love it for SO many reasons, but it lacks volume and it sports a tiny little bell. So, after hearing Shannon Larkin play this HH live, I thought it might be worth the price tag. While I'm sure he gets the "best" one to come off the line any time he wants... I'm equally sure it's the same exact cymbal. They even etch the craftsman's signature under the bell... how cool is that? The bell is LOUD and clear and punishing if you so desire. And yet the "ride" quality is still amazing... the thing sings beautifully. No washy overtones or hums... really an ideal sounding ride that has the added advantage of VOLUME! Do yourself a favor and invest in a beefy stand... it's gotta be 30 pounds or more... it's a massive cymbal.
