Not Impressed
I bought this pedal board on Friday. I took it to rehearsal and tried it out with a Dunlop Crybaby 535Q, a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 and a MXR Carbon Copy. This went into a Crate Palomino class A tube amp. The board added a lot of noise/hiss to my sound. I unhooked the pedals from the board power supply and used batteries. No Noise. The box was glued so well that I shredded one of the flaps trying to get it open and was charged a re-stocking fee of 15% by Guitar Center. They won't see me in their store for a long time as they don't seem to appreciate my business.

SKB PS-8
The SKB PS-8 is a pretty good starter pedal board, but it has some serious draw backs. I bought this when I was in a hurry to get an inexpensive pedal board easy to travel with, and didn't need a separate power supply. I regret not saving up a bit more and getting a better set up. Pros: Convenient design with power supply built into the pedal board. Good surface area for up to 8 pedals. The board itself is durable and lightweight. If you plan on leaving this in your house and not taking it on the road or even to 1 gig, it is great. Cons: The individual power circuits are not shielded from each other, creating a significant amount of hum/noise when using a full board of effects. This is an issue other power supplies address. The supplied velcro does not stick well to the bottom of pedals and falls off during transport. The "heavy-duty ballistic nylon carry bag" is a piece of pure junk. The very first time I used it the plastic hook on the end of the shoulder strap broke off. After 2 uses, the bag ripped apart. It is the quality of a low end gym bag you get free with a magazine subscription. It needs to be made of canvas or another more durable material. It is neither heavy-duty, nor ballistic. One final complaint is that it doesn't come with 1/4" cables to hook up your pedals. I know it doesn't claim to, however it would be nice and would complete the ready out of the box appeal that made me buy it. Bottom line: If you are serious about your sound, save up for a better set-up. There are higher quality board/power combos out there, as well as better power supplies that you can put on your own board. Both options will clean up your sound and offer more durability. I thought I was saving time and money, but now I am looking to buy a better power supply with less noise, and a much more durable means to travel with my pedals.

Easy to carry and set up. Only draw back is the bag isn't padded. If you don't carry it correct your pedals will get bumped hard if you're not careful
Great pedal board with lots of room for pedals

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE BAD REVIEWS WE'RE ALL ABOUT? I THINK THAT THIS PEDAL BOARD IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I DO LIKE THE HOOK AND, LOOP (VELCRO) DOES A GREAT JOB ON HOLDING MY GUITAR PEDALS AND, IT'S MADE OF "ABS" PLASTICS SO, IT'S VERY LIGHT TO HANDLE, NO BIG TIME PROBLEMS WITH THE ABS GUITAR PEDALS BOARD, I'M SPEAKING AS A GUY WHO HAS USED THE HOLEYBOARD, AND, IT IS JUST ABOUT AS GOOD IN MY OPINION! IT'S VERY EASY TO TRANSPORT AND,TO HOOK UP YOUR EFFECTS PEDALS TO W/0 ANY ISSUES! YES, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO MY GOOD FRIENDS WHO PLAY THE GUITAR!
Good buy
