Outstanding Cymbal

The Sabian HHX china stands out from any other china that I have seen. Although it is kind of expensive, it is definitely one of the most musical and versatile chinese cymbals I've ever seen. It has a very trashy sound, but unlike most chinese cymbals, it has smooth decay and overtones. The HHX Evolution can play with any kind of music, which is where it stands out. The only low point is that the smaller models don't project as well at high volumes. That's my only complaint. It's worth the money.
A Lot Of Character

This cymbal is spot on what I personally like out of a small China. 14 inches.. a nice mid to high trashy cut when played on the edge. When played on the bow, it brightens up a bit and it has a bell if mounted right side up. It wasn't over powering like a 18"-20" China may be when hitting it on the edge. It blends in very well when it should and it cuts thru when i need it to. The trashy sound is really nice, better than Wuhan of course..Nothing against Wuhan. They have nice cymbals too. These are the cymbals I had paired up with it: 6" Zill Bell 7" HHX Evolution Splash 10" HHX Splash 14" HHX X-Celerator Hi-Hats 14" HHX Studio Crash 16" HHX Studio Crash 17" HHX-Plosion Crash 18" Wuhan China 18" HHX Studio Crash 20" HHX Stage Ride

I've been looking for a china for awhile and I never found one I really liked until I heard this 14". This thing is so loud for its size. I bought the warranty and its so worth it cause once you play this thing your gonna nail it as hard as you can because it sounds amazing!

I bought this cymbal in August 08' and love it. It's trashy without to many overtones, and fits perfectly into anything that I play. It's dark enough to replace an 18 inch. (which it did) It is very thin and mine unfortunatly is starting to crack, and i dont play hard to begin with.

I just got this cymbal and man am i impressed. I was expecting a sabian AA mini china but instead got this one and i'm glad too. It's one of the best sounding mini chinas i've ever heard. The metal is strong and wont likely break. It has a nice trashy sound good for jazz and some types of rock. Overall great cymbal. I would definately recommend it to anyone.
