The Mark Sherman MS2 mallets from Salyers Percussion are designed to meet the needs of the working vibe player. These mallets have an extra large head and are on shorter shafts. The large heads increase the fundamental tone and create a beautiful sound. The rattan shafts are matched by diameter and flex.

The MS1 and MS2 mallets were designed to meet the needs of Mark Sherman. In addition to being an in demand live and recording artist, Mark teaches in the Juilliard School Jazz Department.

    The Mark Sherman MS2 mallets are simply amazing. They are crafted to be shorter which is often seen in jazz vibraphone mallets. The MS2 are almost two tone in that when you play with a lighter stroke, the mallet produces a warm tone and when used with a strong stroke, you get a more punchy attack that cuts a little more. Salyers makes some of the best mallets in the business today.
