You would have to strum it for yourself and get the vibe.

Not a bad little guitar for the price range, especially if you catch a sale. Out of the box the fret ends were quite sharp and the neck had a bit of bow to it. A few minutes with a file and a truss rod adjustment and it was good to go. Stock strings are OK, bit I believe Silk & Steels will suit it better. Tone is good for an all laminate instrument, and is improving with play. Has some sharp overtones, but I believe these will mellow with the new strings and age. Finish on the outside is quite good (for the price range) but some unsanded braces detract from the quality image. Intonation is close, a compensated bridge would help. If you are like me and enjoy tweaking an instrument to realize it's full potential this is a good and inexpensive place to start, and if things go tragically wrong, at least your not out much $$.
