The Hellraiser C-1 electric guitar with Floyd Rose Sustainiac from Schecter is a metal machine built for shredding. Featuring a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge and EMG 81 active humbucker in the bridge position, this axe delivers tight lows, searing highs and tuning stability for dive bombs and squeals. The Sustainiac pickup in the neck activates infinite feedback sustain, allowing notes to ring out endlessly. Push/pull volume knobs unlock single-coil tones for added tonal range.

Floyd Rose Tremolo Provides Flawless Tuning

The Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo system keeps the Hellraiser C-1 in tune through the most extreme whammy bar workouts. Players can plunge notes into oblivion or send pinched harmonics skyrocketing with confidence their guitar will return to pitch every time.

EMG 81 Pickup Grinds out Aggressive Rock Tones

The EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position harnesses the power of active electronics to produce high-output distortion ideal for metal and hard rock. Punchy lows, searing highs and loads of output make this pickup a staple of modern rock guitar tones.

Sustainiac Pickup Provides Infinite Sustain

Activate the Sustainiac pickup in the neck position to produce endless feedback sustain. Notes will continue ringing indefinitely, allowing players to explore ambient textures or solo endlessly over a single chord. The Sustainiac pickup also produces traditional humbucker tones when disengaged.

Mahogany Body With Quilted Maple Top

A mahogany body with quilted maple top gives the Hellraiser C-1 balanced tone with clear highs and tight low end. The maple top adds visual flair with a striking woodgrain pattern.

Excellent guitar!!! Hellraiser C-1 FR S

This guitar is incredible. Schecter's attention to detail is awesome. The guitar is flawless. It came perfectly set up, ready to play straight out of the box with no adjustments needed. The sustainiac is fun to play with. You can hold notes indefinitely. The floyd allows deep divebombs and climbs effortlessly always going back to perfect tune. Years ago I hated floyds because they were a pain but this one seems solid and very user friendly. This guitar gives you many tone options. You will easily find the perfect sound with this guitar. The EMG bridge pickup screams. You will not be dissapointed. I got mine in black cherry and it is beautiful. Very comfortable to play. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Cheap parts

I bought this guitar with high hopes that it would be worth the price. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations...after having it f for less than 24 hours, the knob that turns the sustainiac on and off (third knob down) came loose. After another 10 minutes or so, the entire sustainiac stopped working. It wouldn't turn on or do anything. I really wouldn't care if the guitar only cost $400-500 but the fact that this guitar cost me $1049+shipping is a little upsetting that it has cheap parts. And that said parts aren't even checked before it's sent. I'm giving this the three stars because I know stuff happens. I sent it back and am now currently waiting for another one to arrive, and hopefully everything works this time. Right now, I would not recommend this guitar.

I got this guitar about a year ago and it has been playing incredibly in every sense. Tuning stability and intonation are incredible; tone, feel, and aesthetics are incredible also. Parallels or exceeds the quality of my Gibson LP. Seriously. Schecter is amazing. Buy this guitar before it goes up in price.

I love everything about this guitar, the craftsmanship the parts the sound the look. I have been putting off ordering one for 8 years but finally made the plunge and I'm so glad I did. The sustaniac is like having a built in sustain pedal, harmonics pedal and synth, an absolute joy to play with. Every one that's seen it in action is always impressed by the sustain and the versatility of the new added pickups. Without the sustaniac on the guitar is a monster, great for heavy, but just as incredible for clean tone. The finish looks better in person if you can believe that. I play this guitar everyday and honestly 50% of that is just how amazing it looks and how comfortable it is to play. The Floyd Rose is very good from my experience, I have dive bombed my brain into the stratosphere and it always comes back to tune. 10/10 would make space whale sounds again.

This is my sixth guitar, I've been playing for over 20 years; garage bands and basement jams but I consider myself fairly knowledgeable. This guitar comes from Schecter, to GC, then to the customer. It isn't actually stocked at any GC and isn't checked by their techs. So make sure to check it over. That being said she did come really well set up from the factory. Only minor, standard adjustments had to be made. The first one I received functioned and played amazing but had some finishing flaws that I wasn't ok with so I shipped it back for round two. It was a small bump/wart on the neck but I felt it every time I slid my hand over it. Second one, the sustainiac didn't function properly and made an audible squealing noise that sounded like it was shorting out when it was active. However the third one was just right. The neck is fast, the tone is amazing, and the sustainiac adds a whole new level of capabilities. I'm also incredibly impressed with the sustain of this guitar without the sustainiac active. Signs of quality parts and craftsmanship. It's truly a beautiful instrument and plays amazing. I ordered the diamond series case with it and it fits perfect. If you're hesitant about the Floyd Rose, do yourself a favor and just learn about it, don't let it turn you off. Watch a couple YouTube vids and just play around with it. Three of my guitars have them and if I could, I'd put them on every one I have. They're incredibly useful and combined with the sustainiac, you can do some awesome dives and switch between modes for some really amazing sounds. Very impressed, highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. There's a reason a lot of studios have a Schecter on hand and this one is awesome. \m/

I always wanted a Schecter electric. Yesterday, I finally got one. I know I have only had it 24 hours, but I played it, tested out the new features with Sustainiac, and tuned it down (2 hour episode -__-) and I love it. The design, build, feel is unlike any guitar I have had or tried. I love it and would buy another one if I had the ability. Definitely is worth the extra $150 for the new sustaniac feature. Makes for cool whammy tricks and probably for crazy solos.

Seems like action is a little high with gauge 10 strings after having it setup. I was thinking on putting a lower gauge on it to lower action and ease up playing a little more. Do you think setup maybe could have been done better??, and, or, going with a lower gauge ( 9's, or lower, lite, extra lite, slinky?). Just want action low and easy as possible. Thank you!!

    1) Probably. 2) 9's would be easier. Have another tech take a look.
