Schecter Guitar Research Omen-6 Left-Handed Electric Guitar Black

Description
Maple neck and basswood body
Maple has a uniform grain, it's strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a basswood body.
Rosewood fretboard
The most common fretboard, rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.
Schecter Diamond Plus pickups
Over wound coils with a ceramic magnet give this aggressive high output pickup the push that will send your amp over the edge. Made for crunchy rhythms and blistering leads, and perfect for drop tunings. This pickup will cut through the mix with ease.
Schecter tuners
These high-quality tuners feature a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime of maintenance-free playability. Details include a 15:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning, removable knobs, threaded hex peghead bushing and a 10 mm diameter peg hole.
TOM with thru body bridge
Classic design Tune-O-Matic bridge with a Schecter "String Thru" body tail, for added string tension, sustain and clarity.

I'm really liking these Schecter guitars. Great necks, they feel solid, good tuners... I already have a Hellraiser, but I wanted something with passive pickups. Something a little warmer. I took a chance on this, but at this price, you can't go wrong at all. Has a very warm sound, but these stock pickups still have enough juice in them to grab a harmonic very easily. I feel like I have a lot of tone options with this guitar. Just backing off the volume a tiny bit gives it a very clean and clear, but still gain driven tone. If you put it at full volume, you get the juice and a little extra distortion without getting too muddy. I feel like it's a great balance, tonally. And for this price, you REALLY can't go wrong. truthfully, I just bought this guitar to pad my numbers as I have more expensive guitars already, but I am extremely satisfied with this and I'm enjoying this over other guitars I paid twice as much for! If you are able to get it, but are on the fence, go for it! I highly doubt you will regret it but it's also cheap enough that you could upgrade some of the parts and have an amazing guitar when it's all said and done.
Definitely would buy another Schecter
