A World Class Bass Guitar
I have been playing guitar for 40 years and I have stood behind and played hundreds of makes and models of Bass Guitars. So when I decided to purchase a new Bass Guitar I went in with the mindset to come out with a winner regardless of the name on the neck. It had to sound really good, feel good, and look pretty. I played every Bass Guitar in the store and I always came back to this Bass. It felt good, it looked gorgeous, and most importantly it sounded AWESOME. Nothing compared to it and I was standing in a room full of Bass Guitars. An outstanding Bass Guitar, World Class in my view. I walked out the door with her!

Buyer's Remorse
This bass plays well, the neck is ultra thin and extremely comfortable with excellent action, but the sound is lacking. I've never gotten a sound I like out of it through Fenders, Peaveys AND Ampegs. On top of that, although it's small, this bass is a lot heavier than it should be. Look for a better bass in the price range, even if you have to get it used ( A used Fernandes is an excellent option ).

Ready to play out of the box. Comes with EMG pickups and Ernie Ball Extra Long (Hybrid Slinky) Nickel Roundwounds. Good punchy tone, nice low action, smooth fast neck. Sounds great through Peavey BAM 210 (350W). Solid construction and light. Active EQ setup allows for finding your perfect tone. Vampyre Red color in picture does not match the actual color of the bass. The color is much deeper/darker, much more like a cherry wood color. Would buy again.
Stiletto Custom 4

Easily the best bass I've ever bought. The Stiletto Custom 4 has 24 Jumbo frets, on a 34" scale neck. The neck is a Bolt-On, but with 6 bolts, not the standard 4. This ensures a much more stable neck, which plays and feels amazing. I have the Vampyre Red Satin (VRS) with black hardware. The body is Mahogany with a Quilted Maple top, it looks and sounds beautiful. The Stiletto custom has an S-Tek bridge, which is simple to use when replacing strings, and an incredibly sturdy bridge. The factory strings are Ernie Ball 4 String Super Long #2849 (.045-.105), I will be switching over too D'Addario Tapewound Bass Guitar Strings, Medium, 50-105, Long Scale. It has a Volume, Blend and a 12db active EQ, allowing a Bass & Treble cut or boost. This guitar comes standard with EMG 35HZ pickups, which require the use of a battery, but sound absolutely massive. They are very versatile pickups.

I've been playing bass for 35 years and have owned all the major brands as well as some others, and this is by far my favorite. The neck is thin and faster than an Ibanez, the sound is full and powerful, and it's writ is lighter than you'd expect. The finish on the Vanpyre Red Satin model is absolutely incredible...the picture doesn't come close to doing it justice! The best bass I've ever owned hands down :)

I have this bass in the natural satin, and it is beautiful. Not only is this a piece of art, but it sounds amazing. I could not be happier with this bass, it is very comfortable to play and the tone is great. The pictures do not do this bass justice, this is easily the best looking instrument I have ever seen. I would recommend this bass to anyone, truly a great instrument.
Amazing bass...how sweet the sound.

This is one amazing, versatile bass. I use it for many genres such as in my youth praise band, my progressive metal band, classic rock (deep purple, the police, pink floyd), metal (metallica, opeth, tool), and just anything that requires a thick and punchy tone with plenty of sustain and clarity. The pickups can be full but also sharp and punchy. The neck is satin smooth and fast. The body is aesthetically pleasing and beautiful! (vampyre red) The mahogany growls and gives a deep tone and the quilted maple is a wonderful accent for the red finish. The tones i use for it include a full, punchy, bassy/low midded tone, a hi mid boost for sparkling harmonics, and a grindy mid scoop tone for metal and Tool songs. It is overall a very versatile and multipurpose bass and is good for any genre from classic rock to fusion to heavy metal. Great basssss!
Fantastic sound, perfect look for about a week.

I love this bass guitar. The pickups are great, the bass is one of the lightest I have ever used, and it is very easy to play. However, I bought this bass, not only because of the fact that I love schecters, but also because of it's looks. However I'm very clumsy when it comes to my instruments, and I often bump into things, drop things, etc, but I was very careful after buying this bass. But even when I was careful, i still manage to bump things from time to time. I got the natural finish, and every little tap on a wall, bookshelf, or door frame leaves a very noticeable dent in the wood. I have had it for a few months now and already I have probably 6 or 7 highly noticeable dents, and scratches which dramatically damages the appearance. If you are planning to buy this bass for mainly the appearance, and if you ever bump or scratch instruments, you are going to be very upset. You WILL get dents. I wish I would have known this before I purchased it.
