I'm hanging onto my Stiletto 4 until it becomes a collector's item, & them I'm going to hang onto it some more. I have no complaints. None. The playability of the Schecter Stiletto 4 is something at which I can only marvel. I've played a thousand basses in my 54 years & none made me feel like a better player right away the way the SS-4 did. -Chris Ferrell, Belmont, NC, USA

This bass is INCREDIBLE value. I love the feel and tone of it so much. I bought it used and the only problems where the pickup selector pot making noise and the g string was quiet, the g string thing was fixed with a set of new strings so it's fine now. This has so many tones and they're all amazing! Great feel and look.

This was my first bass purchase, and I am extremely satisfied! I was learning to play on an old Ibanez that was my wife's that she never used, so when it came time for me to buy my own I did a lot of research and decided on this one. Gotta say I was not disappointed! It was ready to go right out of the box. Stays in tune, has a great neck feel, and has a great tone.
The best bass guitar I've ever owned

In my early days I played rock. Had two basses, a Fender P and a Rickenbacker 4001. Now I play in the praise and worship team at my church. I absolutely love this bass. Light, excellent tone, and the fastest neck on the market. The sustain is incredible. I play through a 250 watt Little Mark with a Mark bass 4x10 cabinet. This is reinforced by 2-2x15 JBL cabs. I can hold a note forever. This is great for modern Contemporary Christian music. I can achieve the deep, rich tone required to perform Elevation Worship, Bethel Music…etc. I can't tell you how much I like this bass. I've been playing for 40 years and have never held a bass that is so perfect.

Does it have fret buzz out of box?
Typically Schecter guitars are pretty good about being set up without buzz.It comes with the full inspection of Schecter before shipping it out, so any fret buzz would be from shifting during transit and is typically fixed with a minor setup.submitted5 years ago

Is this bass sized for a female about 5'6"? I'm looking to buy this for my wife as a surprise so she won't be able to try it for size. Just wondering if I should look elsewhere before I purchase.
This is a standard size bass. It would work well and be the perfect size bass for your wife.submitted6 years ago
