Never one to stand still, after over a decade of playing his Schecter Synyster Custom signature guitar all around the world, Synyster Gates had collected a few ideas about how to make it even better; The new, upgraded Schecter Synyster Custom-S guitar is the culmination of this effort.

Updated appointments include new ergonomic contours for increased comfort over long sets, glow-in-the-dark side-dot position markers to light your way on the darkest stages, and an upgrade to the Floyd Rose 1500 bridge system for precision dive-bombing pleasure. Not stopping there, the guitar also comes installed with Synyster’s own signature US-wound Schecter Custom Shop bridge pickup.

Utilizing three precision- milled Ceramic 8 magnets, Syn’s new powerhouse pickup pushes almost 18k DCR while retaining incredible detail and dynamic response, and is hand-potted to eliminate squeal and feedback, even at ungodly volumes. To top it off, a Sustainiac pickup in the neck position offers mind-melting expressive capabilities, with 3 switchable infinite-sustain options.

Complete with Syn’s personal stylistic touches, the end result is an axe tailor-made for unleashing global sonic mayhem. Case sold separately.

    being a young musician i had a lot of insporations one of them was synyster agtes i always wanted one of these guitars and its finall good to have one in my collection. I love the sustianiac on it and most of my stuff that i play is avenged sevenfold it works well but its also fun to use this guitar for other genres and it works it can play mostly anything but overall a great piece and im going to be playing this for a while

    Killer tone, sustain system is a joy to play with, glass smooth fretboard, ultra access cutaway set neck makes those higher notes a breeze to hit and sweeping is super easy. Has made my set neck axe a burden to play(Omen extreme 6). This will be my 10 year axe no questions. Only downer is it collects dust and fingerprints but a clean white sound always buffs them out with no effort. I use a cotton swap to clean the gold pickup cleans up in no time. 4 months of ownership the sustain and harmonic switches have become slightly loose but doesnt affect playing

    This was my dream guitar from the day I picked up a guitar. It was a so everything I dreamed about and more. It has beautiful looks and diverse playability. I mean this guitar can play anything, metal, blues, ANYTHING!
